Hole Description
Often viewed as a comfortable par 4, the third hole can still sneak up on you. Though it appears straight, the proper line is a gentle dogleg left, with trees and bush protecting the approach. The fairway narrows as it moves toward the green, demanding accuracy.
Playing Notes
Only go for the green if you can reliably hit it 200 metres with control; otherwise lay up to the right side of the fairway for the cleanest angle in.
A hook left generally means a lost ball, while a slice may still reach playable ground. If you find the right trees, assess the risk carefully — a low, safe punch out is often the smarter move.
There’s plenty of room around the front and sides of the green, leaving manageable chips or putts from off the surface. Be cautious long, as the raised back edge can make stopping the ball difficult.
